Before joining ACM Wealth, Ms. Carbonaro was Vice President, Head of Office at Goldman Sachs. At United Capital, she founded and served as Head of Women’s Leadership. She was a Managing Director, Partner, Voice of the Women, Finlife Coach, Managing Director Most Valuable Player and her financial planning practice was a Diamond office winner. Cary is the author of the bestselling wealth management book for women, The Money Queen’s Guide: For Women Who Want to Build Wealth and Banish Fear. Her book was ranked in the top 10 retirement books in 2023 by US News and World Report. She is a CFP® Board Ambassador and was appointed to represent the industry in the media. She is the 2016 recipient of the prestigious Investment News Women to Watch award and was ranked #4 on Investopedia’s Top 100 Financial Advisors list in 2019. She was listed in the Top 100 Investopedia in 2018-2020. Her expertise is highly sought after, and she has offered commentary while appearing on both local and national television news outlets.

Cary recently endowed a scholarship at her undergraduate State University of NY at Cortland for a Women in Business. She was founding President of her sorority, Sigma Delta Tau at Cortland. She is the founding President of the Women’s Giving Alliance, a women’s giving circle in South Lake Community Foundation. She is also in the benefactors circle at the Center for Financial Planning with the goal of advancing women.
Cary earned her Master of Business Administration from Long Island University at CW Post. She currently resides in Winter Garden, FL with her husband. Outside of her work, she is a yoga instructor and beauty enthusiast.
